Tailgating at MSU is one of the greatest experiences OUR state has to offer! OUR experience was even more enhanced by the addition of the Junction in 2007. For fans to have the safest and most enjoyable experience possible, Bulldog tailgaters are asked to follow certain rules and regulations on gameday. Click for map
No tailgate setups before 4 pm the day before the game.
At 4 p.m., the campus will play “Hail State,” symbolizing the appropriate time for fans to make the mad dash to set up their tailgating tents.
All tailgating areas close at midnight every evening.
Please remember that many students call MSU home during the academic year. Please be respectful and mindful of their presence on campus.
No wheeled vehicles or trailers are permitted.
Carts, trailers, cookers, etc. are prohibited from tailgating areas for the safety of fans. Also, please be mindful that thousands of pedestrians must use the sidewalks and crosswalks provided on campus. Help keep foot traffic areas clear for safe passage.
Tailgating
Generators are allowed, but battery inverters are preferred.
Don’t let the chicken strips taste like exhaust! Please be mindful of other tailgaters and setup power sources in a safe and non-evasive manner.
Electric outlets on campus light poles are strictly off limits to tailgaters.
Grills/Fire Pits
All grills must have access to a fire extinguisher.
Charcoal grills are allowed, but keep the campus’ beautification in mind. MSU is well known as an agricultural school, and has some of the finest landscape faculty and staff in the nation. Please help make their jobs easier by respecting the campus and help take care of it.
Coals should be doused and properly disposed of after use. Dumping coals on the ground is prohibited.
Large grills pulled by vehicles are prohibited in tailgating areas unless approved by the Athletic Department.
Pull behind grills are allowed in paid parking lots for a $20 charge ($40 for truck/trailer).

Fire pits, fires built on the ground, or any type of open flames are prohibited on campus. Tents and other tailgating items are not designed to be exposed to high heat, so please do not build fires and keep a close eye on grills.

Bulldog Club Lots are the lots with the closest proximity to Davis Wade Stadium. Please keep in mind that some roads are closed around the stadium on gameday. Please rely on attendants and intersection officers for directions both to and from these lots. Please select a lot from the map for GPS directions.
If coming from the south, travel north on Hwy. 25 to Hwy. 12 East and enter campus via Spring St., Bully Blvd., or Stone Blvd. for parking areas south of Davis Wade Stadium.
To access parking north of the stadium, continue on Hwy. 12 East to Collegeview St. or Hwy. 182 and enter via George Perry Blvd.
If arriving from the east or west on Hwy. 82, exit at Hwy. 12 West. To access parking north of stadium, exit at Hwy. 182 or Collegeview St.; for parking south of stadium, enter at Stone Blvd. (first traffic signal) or at Spring St. (second traffic signal).
